Mindmap

Welcome back to a new blog post

hi

Today I bring you a very simple, visual and useful tool to show information to our students in a schematic way.

It is called "Mindmap" and it has a series of characteristics and benefits that are very suitable for the classroom.

Next, I mention the strongest points of this tool:

1. Show information in a clear and summarized way.

2. Visualize the most important aspects of a topic.

3. Sequence ideas in an schematized way to clarify or solve problems.

These are three advantages of using mindmaps, but there are so many!! It only depends on your imagination and creativity.

Here you can see an example:

In this case the topic is "Puberty", from Natural Science subject. Looking at this mindmap students are able to find the main changes that women and men suffer during this vital and natural process called puberty.

The web page that I have used has been the following one:

  •  Bubbl.us

The web page used is one of many that we can find on the internet. However, it is a website that allows us to easily create mindmaps the way we want, being able to insert the number of ideas we want, the colors that best suit, as well as the way we want to present the ideas. All this after making a mandatory registration that will also lead to only one "negative point" of this website: for free, you can only create up to three mindmaps.

Thank you very much for reading me and I hope this post is useful for you!

See you!! Take care!!!

Journey through ICT subject.

Hello everybody!! This post is about my path of the ICT subject. It has been a long way to get here, but the satisfaction of having arrived is enormous. First of all, remember my virtual arrival through Bitmoji, you all know me! At the same time, I created this Blog that has become my virtual home. Here I save and share everything! But remember, every content always legally and with authorship. Thanks to creative commons license: In order to reach more people, to share what we do with effort and enthusiasm, we work with tools such as twitter or slides, such as Zeetings, google slides or genially. One of the most useful tools for the classroom that I have been adding to the blog are those with which mindmaps, infographics or comics have been made. Very useful for CLIL classes, to organize information, increase accuracy, work on different key skills, give visual support, among many other things. Some examples: Storyboardthat, Pixton, Mindmeister, Bubbl, Canva or Easelly. The last ste...
