Journey through ICT subject.

Hello everybody!! This post is about my path of the ICT subject. It has been a long way to get here, but the satisfaction of having arrived is enormous. First of all, remember my virtual arrival through Bitmoji, you all know me! At the same time, I created this Blog that has become my virtual home. Here I save and share everything! But remember, every content always legally and with authorship. Thanks to creative commons license: In order to reach more people, to share what we do with effort and enthusiasm, we work with tools such as twitter or slides, such as Zeetings, google slides or genially. One of the most useful tools for the classroom that I have been adding to the blog are those with which mindmaps, infographics or comics have been made. Very useful for CLIL classes, to organize information, increase accuracy, work on different key skills, give visual support, among many other things. Some examples: Storyboardthat, Pixton, Mindmeister, Bubbl, Canva or Easelly. The last steps o

THE SPANISH IMPERIALISM

THE SPANISH IMPERIALISM Hello everybody. This is the second post on the topic "The Spanish Imperalism" of the subject Natural Science. As a reminder, the previous tool to work on this issue was Storyboardthat.com, which you can read at the following link:  https://viks-educa.blogspot.com/2021/05/the-spanish-imperialism-in-comic.html Now, I am going to show you another way to do it. At the end of the previous post I gave you an option to work on that Storyboardthat. It was with a little representation.  Now, I give you three different options: As teachers, we can make a video like this with other teachers of the same subject in order to explain the contents. As teachers, this can be an assignment for our students to do. The third one: we can combine the previous ones. One of the most complex parts of doing the video is creating the Chroma. For doing it we have used Filmora APP in its premium version. As you have wacthed, the results of paying for this app are AMAZING!

"The Spanish Imperialism" in Comic

Hello everybody with a NEW Storyboard! This time I am going to write two posts on the same topic to see how we can work on it in two different ways. The theme is "The Spanish Imperialism". Now we are going to use a new comic to explain this topic (in my other post I will show you a video) thanks to the website that I already explained in previous post called Storyboardthat.com The goal of the following comic is (from BCOM): - The student know some important facts about the reigns of Charles I, Philip II and Philip IV. The subject is Social Science and the specific content is: - Spain in the Modern Age. XVI and XVII centuries. The reign of the House of Austria. Once we have shown this comic to the students, they will have to work in groups to dramatize the content. Choosing the same characters and representing the comic.

The importance of slideshows

The importance of slideshows      The slides have become a tool used in many fields, also in education. Both teachers and students use them to support their explanations, presentations and studies. That is why today I bring you a very useful tool for making slides.      As already mentioned, slides are used in a wide variety of situations. At the end of the day, we personalize the slide with the information we want, so it is useful and necessary.      The tool that I bring you today is www.genial.ly.      On this website we can create slides for free as soon as we register. However, some features won't be free.      Among the most characteristic aspects of this application we find: At the beginning, we have a lot of templates on which to create our slides. We differentiate between adding titles, subtitles, paragraphs, as well as different styles of letters, sizes and colors. We can add images and gifts , as well as images directly from pixabay , a website already mentioned in

Welcome to fabulous Comic-Post.

WELCOME TO THIS NEW POST Welcome to this new blog post. Writing this post makes me especially excited because I am going to show you a very fun and didactic tool to use with students. This post wants to dedicate special importance to comics in the classroom. The comics in the classroom is a pedagogical tool that teachers can use in a cross-curricular way, so when used well they can be very beneficial. For example, we can use the same comic for the ethics, natural sciences and arts and crafts or ITC class. Although comics can be done on paper, this time we are going to learn how to make them digitally. To make the comic that I show you I have used the website Storyboardthat.com. This website has a large number of options and a very visual and extensive menu, so the students will need our help to make the comic. However, it is a very complete tool that offers many options in its free version. The options give us a lot of variety to create a comic and always in a safe way for students,
