Hi everybody. Today I want to show you a tool called PODCASTS.

Yesss!! Podcast can be used in Education too!!!

Before showing you how we can use this tool in order to teach something, I'll tell you the website that I have used:

Spreaker.com: The first thing I want to clarify about this application is the ease with which you can use it without having previously resorted to these types of pages. From the first moment you register, an assistant will appear to guide you through your first steps.Then, the only thing you need to do is to create a Podcast Channel and add Podcast episodes. The negative point of this website is that the free version is limited.

"The Spanish Imperialism" in Comic

Hello everybody with a NEW Storyboard! This time I am going to write two posts on the same topic to see how we can work on it in two different ways. The theme is "The Spanish Imperialism". Now we are going to use a new comic to explain this topic (in my other post I will show you a video) thanks to the website that I already explained in previous post called Storyboardthat.com The goal of the following comic is (from BCOM): - The student know some important facts about the reigns of Charles I, Philip II and Philip IV. The subject is Social Science and the specific content is: - Spain in the Modern Age. XVI and XVII centuries. The reign of the House of Austria. Once we have shown this comic to the students, they will have to work in groups to dramatize the content. Choosing the same characters and representing the comic.

Mindmap

Welcome back to a new blog post Today I bring you a very simple , visual and useful tool to show information to our students in a schematic way. It is called "Mindmap" and it has a series of characteristics and benefits that are very suitable for the classroom. Next, I mention the strongest points of this tool : 1. Show information in a clear and summarized way. 2. Visualize the most important aspects of a topic. 3 . Sequence ideas in an schematized way to clarify or solve problems. These are three advantages of using mindmaps, but there are so many!! It only depends on your imagination and creativity.
