Digital Tools for Primary Education.

 Hello again Fellas

Today I bring you a series of very useful tools to carry out in the classroom. Let's start!

ClassDojo:

With this application we can create our own classroom in a gamified way, where each student will have a pretty and cool monster as a character. The idea is to reward behaviors in class as well as penalize bad actions to make the student aware and promote improvements.

ClassCraft

The gamification game in the classroom par excellence, where each user will form teams with their classmates and will have different roles. It is more complete than Classdojo because there are missions to learn classroom content and it encourages cooperation between classmates.

Kahoot

A simple way to know the knowledge of your students regarding the content units. Fun and will put your students to the test. In addition, although it may seem simple, behind this tool there is a large amount of data and analysis to know what your students are right and wrong.

Mentimeter

A good way to brainstorm with your students and find out what they know about a topic.

Plickers.

Plickers is similar to Kahoot but much more complete. It allows us to create questions that students must answer using digital codes. After each answer, a lot of useful analysis is saved for the teacher.

I hope this post has been useful to you. See you and take care!

Mindmap

Welcome back to a new blog post Today I bring you a very simple , visual and useful tool to show information to our students in a schematic way. It is called "Mindmap" and it has a series of characteristics and benefits that are very suitable for the classroom. Next, I mention the strongest points of this tool : 1. Show information in a clear and summarized way. 2. Visualize the most important aspects of a topic. 3 . Sequence ideas in an schematized way to clarify or solve problems. These are three advantages of using mindmaps, but there are so many!! It only depends on your imagination and creativity. Here you can see an example: In this case the topic is " Puberty ", from Natural Science subject. Looking at this mindmap students are able to find the main changes that women and men suffer during this vital and natural process called puberty. The web page that I have used has been the following one:  Bubbl.us      The web page used is one of many that we can...

Journey through ICT subject.

Hello everybody!! This post is about my path of the ICT subject. It has been a long way to get here, but the satisfaction of having arrived is enormous. First of all, remember my virtual arrival through Bitmoji, you all know me! At the same time, I created this Blog that has become my virtual home. Here I save and share everything! But remember, every content always legally and with authorship. Thanks to creative commons license: In order to reach more people, to share what we do with effort and enthusiasm, we work with tools such as twitter or slides, such as Zeetings, google slides or genially. One of the most useful tools for the classroom that I have been adding to the blog are those with which mindmaps, infographics or comics have been made. Very useful for CLIL classes, to organize information, increase accuracy, work on different key skills, give visual support, among many other things. Some examples: Storyboardthat, Pixton, Mindmeister, Bubbl, Canva or Easelly. The last ste...
